Judge drops Harvard antisemitism suit
WASHINGTON -- A judge in Boston has dismissed a Trump administration lawsuit that accused Harvard University of ignoring harassment of Jewish students.
Thursday's decision by U.S. District Judge Richard G. Stearns says President Donald Trump's administration failed to prove an ongoing violation of federal antidiscrimination laws. The judge says the lawsuit mostly focused on incidents during the 2023-24 academic year and the cases are "too isolated and episodic" to prove a persistent civil rights violation.

The Nevada Attorney General's Office plans to appeal. Courts have dismissed similar cases in Arizona, Michigan and Georgia.

Ebola outbreak reaches sixth province
KINSHASA -- Congo's Ebola outbreak has spread to a sixth province after a death in Bas-Uele, according to Africa's CDC. The outbreak, driven by the rare Bundibugyo virus, has killed more than 2,100 people out of more than 4,500 cases.
The World Health Organization says it's on track to surpass the deadliest outbreak in history. Health workers in Ituri province went on strike due to unpaid salaries, hampering response efforts.
