Lawyers ask to restrict trial access
PROVO -- A Utah judge will decide whether to restrict access to parts of a July preliminary hearing and seal some exhibits in the case of the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk.
Tyler Robinson's defense hopes to bar reporters and the public from parts of July 6-10 proceedings, which will feature the most significant presentation of evidence to date.

US health officials quarantine two
OMAHA -- U.S. health officials say they've issued quarantine orders for two passengers who were on the cruise ship at the center of a hantavirus outbreak.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said in a statement Tuesday the orders were signed by the CDC's acting director, Dr. Jay Bhattacharya. The passengers subject to the orders are among 18 people aboard the cruise ship who are being assessed in a special unit at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.

Rubio to go to NATO meeting
WASHINGTON -- Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel this week to a NATO foreign ministers meeting in Sweden, where U.S. plans to reduce troop levels in Europe coupled with President Donald Trump's often inconsistent stance on the alliance.
The trip also comes as uncertainty over Trump's intentions with regard to the war with Iran is rising. The State Department said Tuesday that Rubio would attend the NATO meeting in Helsingborg on Friday before traveling on to India.

WHO concerned of Ebola outbreak
BUNIA -- The World Health Organization director-general has expressed concern over the rapid spread of a rare type of Ebola in eastern Congo. Authorities have reported at least 134 suspected deaths and over 500 cases.
The Bundibugyo virus has no approved treatments or vaccines. The outbreak has been declared a public health emergency requiring international response. The virus has spread to urban areas, raising fears of further spread and deaths.

Country says drones came from Iraq
DUBAI -- The United Arab Emirates says drones that targeted its Barakah nuclear power plant came from Iraq.
Tuesday's announcement indicated Iranian-backed Shiite militias were likely behind Sunday's nuclear plant attack. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump said he's willing to give Iran a few days -- possibly until early next week -- to make progress in peace negotiations before the United States resumes military strikes.

Live frog found in salad bag
MELBOURNE -- An Australian farmer has found a live frog in a bag of lettuce. Laura Jones said on Tuesday one of her house mates in Esperance in Western Australia state found the frog inside a sealed plastic bag he'd bought from a supermarket.
The farmer was preparing dinner for his three housemates at the time. Supermarket chain Woolworths has apologized and is investigating with suppliers how the frog was not detected earlier.
