Hot off the presses
Penn State Daily Collegian staff members visited the Altoona Mirror to observe the printing of their student newspaper Monday. The Penn State University students travel to the Mirror annually to learn about the process behind printing newspapers. Publisher Dan Slep (left) and former managing editor Neil Rudel led tours of the Mirror newsroom, pressroom and facilities so students could see the newspaper printing process from start to finish.
