In just a few short days the Altoona Curve will hit the one quarter mark of their 140-game season. To date, it’s not been what many expected this season to look like as the Curve sit at 15-16 on the year. Though even at just one game below .500, Altoona is only one game and a half out of first place. The abhorrent word rolled easily from Bob Huggins’ lips. Not once, but twice. That should’ve been enough to earn an early retirement, but college athletics has no shame.
