Why I picked Penn Highlands: “I focused on colleges that offered the program of study. I wanted to choose radiology and it was within relative close proximity to my home within an hour distance. I also was focused on the ability to obtain a degree without a large amount of student debt. The program offered the best value to obtain a degree, and focus on what I hope to learn in a career.”
Coach Laura Mortimore’s quote: “Lauren is an amazing athlete that works hard with a great volleyball IQ. She grew tremendously in both skill and confidence, hoping for a shot to continue her volleyball career beyond high school. I’m so proud of Lauren. She will be a great addition to the Penn Highlands program.”
How I got my start in volleyball: “I signed up for fifth grade interscholastic volleyball at age 11. From there, I played both travel and club volleyball starting at 12U, AAU, and I continued through my junior-senior high career.”
