MARTINSBURG — Central recorded 19 hits in knocking off Forest Hills, 11-8, in high school softball action on Monday. Madison Kennedy, Lacey Lynn, Bralyn Ellis, Taylor Stock, Madison Daugherty and Aubrey Rhodes all had multiple hits for the Lady Dragons. Lady Eagles finish up 1-1 at PC tourney

CRESSON — Tyrone went 1-1 on Sunday at the Penn Cambria Tournament in high school softball. Tyrone lost 8-4 to Westmont Hilltop but defeated Penn Cambria, 12-0. In the victory, which improved the Lady Eagles to 11-8, Tyrone got four hits from Maci Brodzina and three hits each from Madelyn Rockwell and Maci Lingenfelter.
