Lady Bulldogs see their season end in playoffs

JOHNSTOWN — The Claysburg-Kimmel girls basketball team saw its season come to an end Wednesday night, losing 74-23 to Bishop McCort in the first round of the District 6 Class 2A playoffs. The Lady Crimson Crushers, who led 52-14 at halftime, got 15 points from Emma Preuss, 14 points from Ava Zucco and 14 points also from Zoey Ferguson. The Lady Bulldogs, who finished the season at 6-17, got 14 points from Bailey Tipton. McCort will lay Portage next week in the semifinals.
