MARTINSBURG — Williamsburg’s Tanner Ross and April Isenberg were the big winners in a meet with Northern Bedford and Central on Wednesday afternoon in high school cross country action. Ross won the boys race in 18:53 while Isenberg finished first in the girls race in 24:13. Williamsburg’s boys beat Central (15-50) but lost 17-19 to Northern Bedford. The Pennsylvania State Athletic Directors’ Hall of Fame recently announced the addition of three familiar names from the Mirror coverage area to its list of honorees: Dean Rossi, Jeff Batzel and Brian Koontz. Rossi, the former Hollidaysburg Area Athletic Director who passed away in 2015, along with Northern Bedford’s Batzel and Everett’s Koontz, will be inducted at a ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the University of Pittsburgh.
