MOUNT UNION — The Claysburg-Kimmel boys basketball team outscored Mount Union, 16-7, in the fourth quarter en route to a 56-48 win in scholastic action Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs (8-4) were led by Christian Treon’s 19 points, followed by 17 points from Gavin Treon. Teammate Brayden Haney added 13 points in a game C-K trailed, 21-15, after one quarter.
Caizon Scott’s 22 points were tops for the Trojans (4-8).

Pirates triumph
CURWENSVILLE — Williamsburg dominated Curwensville in a 59-27 win that upped the Blue Pirates’ record to 10-2.
Ethan Reffner scored a game-high 24 points, and Evan Zehner and Ty Uplinger each added 12 points for Williamsburg.

ALEXANDRIA — Juniata Valley improved to 10-3 with an 84-44 win over Glendale.
Ethan Scalia’s 24 points were tops for JV, which led 52-29 at halftime. Jett Rand (16), Laken Cook (14) and Kyler Spurlin (12) also contributed in the win.
Glendale (0-10) got 22 points from Rhylan Hoopsick-Bell.
