Lady Marauders head to LHAC semis at 20-2

The Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic girls basketball team came into Monday night’s Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference matchup against Penns Valley winners of six of its last seven games. The Lady Marauders pushed their winning streak to three and finished the regular season 20-2 by beating the Rams, 56-35, at the Pleasant Valley Gymnasium. Claysburg held a slim 19-18 edge over the Panthers — who have only one win this season — at the break, as both teams battled to a stalemate. The third quarter was a different story, however.
