Notable: Saint Joe’s won the first meeting between the two teams on Jan. 28 in Boalsburg, 72-44, ending a 15-game win streak for Williamsburg. Crispin scored 24 points for Saint Joe’s, and Bella Royer had 14 for the Lady Blue Pirates … Saint Joe’s also won the second meeting this year, 75-73, on Feb. 26 in the District 6 consolation game at Bald Eagle Area High School. Regan Prough buried six 3-pointers for 18 points for Williamsburg, which played without leading scorer and rebounder Gorsuch. Crispin had 20 points for the Lady Wolves … Crispin, a West Chester commit who has scored more than 2,000 points in her scholastic career, had 37 points in Saint Joe’s upset win over Bishop Guilfoyle on Saturday … Williamsburg has made the state championship game twice, losing to Lebanon Catholic in 1995 and beating Marian Catholic in 1997 … The Lady Blue Pirates have had their last two seasons end at the AAHS Fieldhouse, last year against Bishop Carroll and in 2024 in the PIAA semifinals against Bishop Guilfoyle.

Notable: Steele averages 14.7 points per game, Craig 14.4 and Yeager 10.0 … The Shamrocks’ losses this year are to Bishop McDevitt and Big Spring … Trinity, which competes in the Mid-Penn Conference Capital Division, won a regular-season meeting with BG, 68-60, on its home court in Camp Hill on Jan. 10. Steele (19 points), Craig (17 points) and Yeager (14) led Trinity, while Consiglio scored 17 for BG. The Marauders trailed by one after the first quarter, four at halftime and 11 heading to the fourth quarter … Steele scored 30 in Trinity’s win over Forest Hills on Saturday … BG defeated Trinity during last year’s regular season, 66-63, on a Nick Foor buzzer-beater at Penn State Altoona’s Adler Arena, and Trinity won in 2023-24 in Camp Hill, 59-56 … Bishop Guilfoyle is 34-35 all-time in the PIAA tournament … BG’s only appearance in the PIAA finals came in the 2019 Class 2A championship game. The Marauders lost to Math, Civics and Science, 54-52. Trinity also lost in the state final that year, 73-72, to Lincoln Park in Class 3A … Trinity won Class 2A state titles in 2001 and 2003.
