Altoona falls short

Chambersburg traveled to Mansion Mark on Monday and defeated Altoona, 6-2.

Chambersburg jumped out to a 4-0 lead after two innings. Altoona rallied in the fifth inning by closing the gap to 4-2, but Chambersburg turned a double play with the bases loaded to end the inning.

Bryce Murray and Brandon Treon each drove in two runs for Chambersburg, while Connor Pike threw five innings of two-hit relief and Connor Waite had two hits for Altoona.
