Athlete of the week achievement: McAllister went 2-for-3 with an RBI and threw two shutout innings and had three strikeouts for Altoona in its 5-2 win over Mifflin County. He later had two hits, scored three runs and had a double and an RBI for the Mountain Lions in a 9-5 win over Cumberland Valley in a game he also threw 1 1⁄3 scoreless innings and picked up a save.
Season update: McAllister is batting a team-best .500 and has thrown 3 1⁄3 scoreless innings in two outings on the mound this season.
