The Golden Tigers’ defense has been very sharp as well. After opening the season with a 28-14 victory over archrival Altoona at Mansion Park, the Golden Tigers traveled to Pittsburgh last Friday and blitzed Taylor Allderdice, 42-0. Jack Gioiosa and Cam Bush each scored two touchdowns to lead Bishop Guilfoyle Academy to a 41-8 win over DuBois in JV football Tuesday at Tom Irwin Field. Gioiosa scored on runs of 17 and 50 yards, while Bush scored on a 17-yard touchdown pass from Justin Wheeler and on a 29-yard interception return.
