Scarlet Dragons hold off McCort in fourth quarter
MARTINSBURG — Central was able to hold off a Bishop McCort rally in the fourth quarter to pull out a 61-54 victory Tuesday night in boys high school basketball action.
Eli Muthler knocked down four 3-pointers and led all scorers with 28 points for the Scarlet Dragons, which hit 13 treys as a team.

Brantner leads Pirates
WILLIAMSBURG — Logan Brantner poured in a game-high 25 points to propel Williamsburg to a 69-53 win over Juniata Valley.
Ethan Reffner contributed 15 points for the Blue Pirates, which held a 46-40 lead after three quarters before outscoring JV by 10 in the fourth.
The Green Hornets got 16 points from Laken Cook and 13 more by Ronal Chavez.
