Name: Seth Hoover School: Tyrone Area Age: 18 Grade: Senior Sport: Football Athlete of the week achievement: Hoover rushed 23 times for 250 yards and four touchdowns, and also caught two passes for 17 yards, to lead third-seeded Tyrone to a 44-0 win over second-seeded Forest Hills in the District 6 3A semifinals. Season update: Hoover has 179 carries for 1,166 yards and 13 touchdowns. Name: Ella McCrum School: Juniata Valley Age: 18 Grade: Senior Sport: Cross country Athlete of the week achievement: McCrum edged out some of the top runners in the area to win the Blair-Huntingdon County race in 20:15 and then finished third in the District 6 Class 1A race in Reedsville in 19:42.4 to advance to the PIAA meet. Name: Cayden Pellegrine School: Bellwood-Antis Age: 17 Grade: Senior Sport: Football Athlete of the week achievement: Pellegrine had 26 carries for 110 yards and scored three touchdowns for Bellwood-Antis in its 34-33 win over McCort-Carroll.
