Athlete of the week achievement: Hoover rushed 23 times for 250 yards and four touchdowns, and also caught two passes for 17 yards, to lead third-seeded Tyrone to a 44-0 win over second-seeded Forest Hills in the District 6 3A semifinals.

Season update: Hoover has 179 carries for 1,166 yards and 13 touchdowns. He's also caught 24 passes for 246 yards and another score for the 7-4 Golden Eagles, who will play Penn Cambria for the District 6 Class 3A title Friday.

Coach John Franco's quote: "I think Seth is one of the best running backs that we have ever had at Tyrone. His performance on Friday night was just outstanding. He'll be the first one to credit his linemen for it, but he did a great job."
