Franklin: Stadium upgrades necessary

Expanded playoffs will begin on Dec. 20

The Associated Press The first year of the 12-team College Football Playoff will kick off with a first-round game on Dec. 20 and conclude with the title game one month later in Atlanta. The CFP announced its entire schedule on Wednesday. The four first-round games will be on Dec. 20 and 21. Motley promoted on PSU women’s staff to assistant

UNIVERSITY PARK — Penn State women’s basketball head coach Carolyn Kieger announced Tuesday that Adrienne Motley was promoted to assistant coach. Motley served as the director of player development for the Lady Lions in the 2023-24 campaign. Motley is a graduate of the University of Miami, where she played under then assistant coach Kieger. She was a starter for the Hurricanes for four seasons and compiled 1,844 points in 129 games while earning a slew of accolades throughout the years. PSU men in Slam tourney UNIVERSITY PARK – The Penn State men’s basketball team is set to compete in the 2024 Sunshine Slam, which will take place November 25-26 at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach. Penn State will face two of Clemson, San Francisco and Fordham as participants in the Beach bracket, while the Ocean bracket will consist of Radford, Chicago State, Drexel, and Purdue Fort Wayne.
