Hoopers out of TBT event HOUSTON — The Happy Valley Hoopers were eliminated from The Basketball Tournament Tuesday night, thanks to an 85-71 loss to Eberlein Drive in Houston. The Hoopers are made up of Penn State alumni. Myreon Jones and Sam Sessoms led the Hoopers with 16 points each. Curtis Jones added 13 to go with 12 from Greg Lee. Happy Valley, a team made up of Penn State alumni, will take on Eberlein Drive at 7 p.m. The game will air live on Fox Sports 1. If Happy Valley wins, it will take on the winner of the 9 p.m. game between Forever Coogs (Houston alumni) and Team Colorado. PSU adds DE from Texas The Penn State football program announced the addition of defensive end Max Granville to its 2024 signing class on Thursday. He will join the team for fall camp immediately. That brings the total to 26 signees for the upcoming season, 12 on offense and 14 on defense.
