Mile Level PT takes Fed playoff opener

Down 3-1 after four innings, Mile Level Physical Therapy scored three runs each in the fifth and sixth innings to beat Sons & Daughters of Italy, 7-5, in Game 1 of a George B. Kelley Baseball Federation best-of-3 quarterfinal at Vets Field on Wednesday. Cody Clapper and Kade Robinson both went 3-for-3 to lead Mile Level in the comeback. Robinson and Troy McNichols both doubled for the winners. Cort Hetrick allowed two unearned runs in four innings of relief to get the win. Game 2 is this evening at 8 p.m. back at Mansion Park.
