PITTSTON — Fueled by two grand slams, the Hollidaysburg 12U team scored 10 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and downed Back Mountain, 15-3, in the Little League Baseball State Tournament at Township Little League Field on Friday. Youth golfers earn RidgeRunner titles

Local youth golfers took home titles recently while competing on the RidgeRunners Junior Golf Tour at the Park Hills Country Club. Sam McLanahan claimed the 16-17 division title with a 4-over par 74, while Trent Salem finished second at 6-over 76. McLanahan also recorded his first-ever hole-in-one on No. 14, using a pitching wedge from 134 yards out. Ben Curry won the 14-15 division title with a 7-over 77 with Tanner Cook placing second with an 8-over 78. On the girls side, Nora Faught won the 12-13 division title with a 16-over park 86. Keaton Ley placed second at 19-over 89.
