HOLLIDAYSBURG — Pat Croft and Drew Nixon combined for a low gross score of 32 during two-man scramble action in the Sylvan Hill Thursday Golf League at the Sylvan Hills Golf Club. Donnie Fisher Jr. and Todd Mash were the low net winners at 27. Croft and Nixon are currently the league leaders. MECHANICSBURG — The World of Outlaws defending champion, David Gravel, claimed his third Williams Grove Speedway C&D Rigging Summer Nationals finale title, scoring $20,000 for a flag-to-flag performance in the 24th running of the affair. JOHNSTOWN — Trailing 6-4, Johnstown Mainline Pharmacy exploded for eight runs in the bottom of the eighth inning and knocked off Youngstown, 12-6, on the second day of the AAABA National Tournament at Sargent’s Stadium at the Point on Tuesday night.
