Bishop Carroll captures slugfest over Blacklick Valley

EBENSBURG — Trailing by two in the bottom of the seventh inning, Amirah Rey doubled to clear the bases in walk off fashion as Bishop Carroll won a slugfest by a 17-16 score over Blacklick Valley Wednesday in high school softball.
The two teams combined for 31 hits on the day as the Lady Huskies amassed 17.
Rey finished her day with three hits and five RBIs, while Adelyn Myers delivered four hits for BC.
Emily Olienyk and Hannah Strittmatter collected two hits and drove in two runs for the Lady Huskies, while Avery Myers registered three RBIs and two hits, and Veronica Lessard had two RBIs

Ellie Lingle smacked a double for the Lady Marauders, which committed seven errors on the afternoon.
