Tigers break out big bats in season-opening victory
HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg recorded 20 hits in six innings during an 18-8 win over Bellwood-Antis Tuesday in high school baseball play.
Cayden Gibbons fronted the Golden Tigers with three hits and six RBIs, Jay Albarano notched four hits and pushed across three runs, while Robbie Mullin had four hits and scored three times.
Josh Banks accounted for three hits and knocked in two teammates, while, Brady Steiner and Ty Szynal delivered two hits and two RBIs for the Tigers.
Matt Berkowitz led the Blue Devils with two hits, including a two-run homer, and scored twice.
