Why did you pick Pitt-Johnstown: “I picked Pitt-Johnstown because of the great reputation of their engineering program and the fact that they have given me the opportunity to join the track and field team.”
Greatest high school achievement: “That I stayed involved and committed to athletics. That decision helped expose me to the really great friends that I have made. It has also helped me feel like I belong somewhere. It has helped me stay focused on my future.”
Coach Mike Adams’ quote: “Dylan has been an integral part of our track program for three years. He has dedicated himself to becoming a great hurdler, and it has paid off. I am happy for Dylan to continue his academic and athletic career at UPJ. Knowing his work ethic and desire to excel Dylan will be very successful in college.
How I got my start competing in track and field: “When I began playing baseball, my coaches soon learned that I was one of the fastest runners in the league. This became my “thing.” Those years at baseball helped develop my passion for running.”
Favorite college growing up: Notre Dame
Other interests: Basketball, baseball
What getting to play in college means to me: “Track has been a part of my life for many years now. It is one of the things that helps define who I am. Getting to do this in college means that I get to continue to keep this a part of me. I get to bring the years of hard work and dedication with me as I continue to work toward my future.”
