Endy Rodriguez homered for the second game in a row, but Akron picked up eight runs on 10 hits to defeat Altoona, 8-4, on Friday night at PNG Field. Akron scored in each of the first four innings. Micah Pries hit an RBI-single in the first inning off Curve starter Kyle Nicolas. Julian Escobedo hit a sacrifice fly in the second. Endy Rodriguez hit two home runs and Nick Gonzales recorded three hits as the Curve took advantage of four Akron errors and defeated the RubberDucks, 13-7, on Thursday night at PNG Field. Altoona scored six runs in the bottom of the third inning off Thomas Ponticelli and five runs in the eighth off Aaron Pinto. Curve release 2023 schedule

The Altoona Curve released their 2023 schedule of games to be played in the 25th season of baseball on Tuesday. The 138-game slate is the same length as the 2022 season and will feature nine home games in April, 14 home games in May, ten home games in June, 12 home games in July, 18 home games in August and six home games in September.
