Despite record, Curve showing good signs

In just a few short days the Altoona Curve will hit the one quarter mark of their 140-game season. To date, it’s not been what many expected this season to look like as the Curve sit at 15-16 on the year. Though even at just one game below .500, Altoona is only one game and a half out of first place. Top prospect Henry Davis has exceeded expectations, hitting .308 with eight home runs, 17 RBIs and five stolen bases. Akron’s offense came to life with 13 hits and defeated the Curve, 7-2, in front of 6,897 fans at Peoples Natural Gas Field on Wednesday morning.
