Kannan Shields and Vinny Nedimyer combined on a one-hitter as Cumming Motors edged Sheetz, 2-1, in an Altoona Teener Major Baseball League game at Seitz Field on Monday.

Shields went five innings and didn’t allow a hit and was charged with one run to earn the win. Nedimyer threw two scoreless innings, allowing one hit, to earn the save.

Nedimyer also doubled in a run for Cumming..

Bavarian Aid Society took a 5-0 lead and held on for a 5-4 win over Gingrich Insurance in Altoona Teener Major League action at Seitz Field.

James Morris, Alex Dively and Will Megahan drove in runs for Bavarian. Evan Zupon had two hits, and Chase Golden had two RBIs for Gingrich.
