BOYS

MONDAY

Altoona at State College, 7:30

Notable: Altoona is coming off a win over Harrisburg but lost to Little Lions, 73-29, on Dec. 10.

Clearfield at Central, 7:30

Notable: Tough test for Dragons vs. unbeaten Bison team with two 1,000-point scorers (Ev Maines, Braison Patrick).

Johnstown at Penn Cambria, 7:15

Notable: Big test for Panthers after three straight wins. Trojans are 9-2 with losses to Fox Chapel and BG.

TUESDAY

Southern Huntingdon at Northern Bedford, 6

Notable: Rockets are 7-5 and Panthers are 6-6, but Southern won the first game this year, 74-48.

Williamsport at Hollidaysburg, 7:30

Notable: Millionaires are hovering around .500 but play a difficult schedule and should test Tigers.

WEDNESDAY

Penn Cambria at Westmont Hilltop, 7:15

Notable: Another big test for Panthers against a team it could match up against in the District 6 Class 3A postseason.

THURSDAY

Moshannon Valley at Claysburg-Kimmel, 7:15

Notable: Bulldogs are currently the No. 4 seed in the District 6 Class 2A playoff field, and Mo Valley is No. 5.

FRIDAY

Everett at Northern Bedford, 5

Notable: Warriors won the first game, 66-61, in overtime but have to travel to their rival this time.

Hollidaysburg at Johnstown, 7:30

Notable: Likely preview of the Class 5A championship game — a classification recently dominated by the Trojans.

GIRLS

MONDAY

Hollidaysburg at Bellwood-Antis, 7:30

Notable: Jim Swaney coaches his first game at B-A since spring of 2023 when the Lady Devils lost to Bishop McCort.

Northern Bedford at Southern Huntingdon, 6

Notable: Good test for defending District 5 Class 1A champions as Lady Rockets won first matchup by 10.

Penn Cambria at Johnstown, 7:15

Notable: Both teams already have nine wins and are favorites to advance to their respective district title games (PC, 4A; J-town, 5A).

TUESDAY

Penns Manor at Cambria Heights, 7

Notable: Penns Manor is currently the top seed in District 6 Class 2A and Heights is in the middle of the pack in 3A.

State College at Altoona, 6:30

Notable: Altoona won the first game on the road 67-42, but both teams have only three losses.

WEDNESDAY

Williamsport at Altoona, 6:30

Notable: Williamsport has scored 35 points or less in eight of its 12 games but could play Lady Lions in the postseason.

THURSDAY

Portage at River Valley, 7:15

Notable: Teams have had several battles at the top of the Heritage the last couple years but both fighting for position in the middle this year.

FRIDAY

Bellwood-Antis at Bishop McCort, 6

Notable: Lady Blue Devils are currently the No. 2 seed in District 6 Class 2A, and McCort is the No. 3 seed.

Everett at Northern Bedford, 7

Notable: Another big game for Northern Bedford against an Everett team that is among the better ones in the district.

Hollidaysburg at Johnstown, 6

Notable: This could also be a District 4-6 Class 5A championship preview as the Lady Trojans’ program has improved greatly.
