The Sooners’ DJ Parker (197) and Juan Mora (285) both won titles. … Former Nittany Lion great Mark Hall II, a 2017 national champion at 174 pounds, is the director of operations for the Sooner wrestling program. Prior to joining Oklahoma, Hall was an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania for three seasons. … Penn State will likely send out true freshmen Marcus Blaze (133) and PJ Duke (157) for their first collegiate action. …Redshirt freshman Connor Mirasola (197) will likely see his first dual meet action in the absence of Josh Barr. Barr was injured in the U23 World Championships a few weeks ago and had to withdraw from the tournament. … The Nittany Lions are going for their 72nd consecutive dual meet victory. The last time they lost a dual meet was at Iowa on Jan. 31, 2020.
