Rozella (Aughenbaugh) Smeal

Rozella (Aughenbaugh) Smeal, 81, Sanborn, died Monday. She was born in Clearfield, daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (Shubert) Aughenbaugh. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Al; daughter, Sherry Smeal; and brothers: Raymond II, Edward, Frederick and Ernie Aughenbaugh. Surviving are daughters: Susan Thoman, Kathy Howe and April Kelly; six grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Aughenbaugh. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the service at noon on Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at Clearfield Alliance Church. Arrangements by Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale.

On Feb. 18, 1961, he married Joan G. (Harper) at Trinity Methodist Church in Waco, Texas.
