Robert Krause Smith
Robert K. Smith, 87, of Warriors Mark, died at home peacefully on Tuesday in the company of the family he loved. He was born in Washington, Pa., to George E. and Alice (Grassel) Smith.
On Feb. 18, 1961, he married Joan G. (Harper) at Trinity Methodist Church in Waco, Texas.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Kathryn Houck and Amy Thomas; four grandchildren: Jason Houck, Jacob Houck, Emilie Wilbur and Jenna Clark; five great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Annalise, Maddie and Jack; and a great-great-grandson, Colt. Also surviving are two brothers, David Smith and William Smith.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rachel Houck; sister-in-law, Marilyn Smith; and brother-in-law, Ric Miller.
Bob graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in 1960. He then served nine years in the U.S. Air Force. He joined PPG Industries in 1970, retiring in 2003.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Tyrone, where he sang in the choir and served in various leadership positions. He will be remembered as a man of integrity and humor.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home.
