William James Phillips Sr., 79, Blandburg, died Friday. He was born in Philipsburg, son of Joseph and Flotilla (Gensler) Phillips. He married Bonnie L. Baldwin on Nov. 25, 1967. She survives, along with a son, William Jr.; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Penny; and 11 siblings. Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
