Daniel L. Heaton Sr.

Daniel L. Heaton Sr., 69, of Everett, Pa., formerly of Altoona, passed away Friday at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert L. and Martha Heaton. Surviving are two sons, Daniel L. Heaton Jr. and Raymond J. Heaton; a sister, Donna; three brothers: Bob, Randy and Ron; and a grandson, William. He was preceded in death by a brother, Denis; and a granddaughter, Madison. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. Arrangements are by Anthony P. Scaglione Funeral Home, 1908 Seventh Ave., Altoona.

Marjorie Ann Krise

Marjorie Ann Krise, 91, Altoona, passed away Friday. She was born in Tyrone, daughter of the late Marion H. and Blanche R. (Watson) Hampton. She was preceded in death by her husband; Walter; siblings: Marion “Bunny,” Shirley, Richard, Ronald “Smoke,” Janet and Connie; and son-in-law, Robin Harkins. Surviving are daughters, Debra Wallar and Teri Harkins; and several grandchildren. Marjorie spent her life working as a nurse and caregiver. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Altoona.

John R. Winklbauer, 86, of Duncansville, passed away Sunday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John and Anna (Kunsman) Winklbauer. He married Ruth Ann Angelo in 1965. Surviving are his wife of 61 years; and a daughter, Cheryl Winklbauer. He was preceded in death by a brother, Mark, in 2018. John graduated from Altoona High School in 1957 and served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Pennsylvania State Police after 35 years as a trooper.
