Carmella C. “Carmie” Martynuska, 96, Lilly, died Monday. She was born in Portage to late parents, Carmine and Bridget (Natale) DeMatteis. She was also predeceased by her husband, Arthur; and siblings: Nicolena, Marie and James. Surviving are her children: Brenda, Cynthia and Arturo; many grandchildren; and siblings, Michael and Patricia. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Portage. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026, at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly.

Barbara Ann (Stenger) Mingle, 96, of Havertown, formerly of Roaring Spring, died March 21, 2026. She was born in Millville to late parents, the Rev. Harry C. and Mildred (Mason) Stenger. Surviving are sons: David, Daniel and Douglas; and her grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Donald; six siblings; four infant children; and a great-grandson.
