Carmella C. "Carmie" Martynuska, 96, Lilly, died Monday. She was born in Portage to late parents, Carmine and Bridget (Natale) DeMatteis. She was also predeceased by her husband, Arthur; and siblings: Nicolena, Marie and James. Surviving are her children: Brenda, Cynthia and Arturo; many grandchildren; and siblings, Michael and Patricia. Visitation is from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Portage. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 10, 2026, at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly.
