I write in support of Suzanne Bigelow-Cherry for district justice. Bigelow-Cherry is a farmer’s wife, mother of two grown children, devoted daughter and caregiver to her parents and a former Sunday School teacher and Scout leader. Throughout her career, she has counseled and fought for people from all walks of life. Our legislators should support Pennsylvania House Bill 1811, which amends Title 34 to ensure that the Pennsylvania Game Commission pays fair market value for land acquisitions intended for use as state game lands, aligning pricing authority with real-world land values. I have known Bigelow-Cherry and her family for over 20 years and have recently had opportunities to talk with her at length of the important work our district magistrates are entrusted to do.
