SAVE Act won’t cause issues for women
Producing a photo ID is dangerous to women? Really?
A letter titled “The SAVE Act is dangerous to women” railed against the SAVE Act and President Trump, but I noticed no mention that Real ID itself was dangerous to women. Or that any “photo identification proving citizenship” was dangerous to women.
It also mentioned the need to “scrounge up marriage certificates, divorce decrees and other proofs.” I’m sure women needed to provide these documents before now, which anyone should have available, for any other service or privilege. I’m sure that the SAVE Act is the only legislation that’s ever introduced such a requirement.
The letter also failed to mention all the other things requiring a photo ID. Here’s just a very small part of the list:
Purchasing alcohol, cigarettes or lottery tickets; entry into bars and nightclubs; domestic flights; federal facilities or military bases; opening a bank account; applying for student loans; completing an I-9; checking into a motel; DMV or Social Security; prescriptions; emergency rooms; rent a car; buy a firearm; adopt a pet; get a library card.
I suppose all of these are also dangerous to women?
Democrats simply don’t want fair voting and removing the possibility of cheating. They also can’t possibly stand anything that would be seen as a win for President Trump. This was evidenced when very few Democrat Congressmen stood during the SOTU address in support of government protecting American citizens and not illegal aliens.
