James Everett “Speedy” Morrow, 96, of Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona, formerly of Glasgow, died Sunday. He was born in Glasgow, a son of the late Lloyd and Naomi (Cree) Morrow. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; a son, David; a brother, George; and sisters: Marie Benn, Alverta Lovell, Olive Carlson and Beatrice Myers. Surviving are a son, James; grandchildren: John, Kevin, Heather and Craig Morrow; and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received from 1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, March 8, 2025, at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
Harry Leonard Reeseman, 72, Altoona, passed away Thursday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Virginia Flesko Reeseman. He is survived by his significant other, Katheryn Yerty of Altoona; siblings: Ronald Reeseman, Jimmy Reeseman, Gloria Colley and Nancy Umbower; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. John F. “Jack” Richardson, 78, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday after a brief illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, son of the late Herbert and Norine (Bullis) Richardson. He married Christine Knox, who preceded him in death in 2015. Jack was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas. He retired as a superintendent from Westvaco. Edith M. Wineland, 92, formerly of Kearney, Bedford County, died Monday at Homewood at Martinsburg. She was born in Fulton County, daughter of the late Stanley and Myrtle (Foor) Wright. She was predeceased by two husbands, Joe Swindell and Foster Wineland; and siblings: Stanley “Sonny,” Ronald, Thomas, Jean, Dorcas and Beatrice.
