Edward J. Heverly

Edward J. Heverly, 68, of Altoona, died Saturday after an automobile accident. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Samuel and Joan (Weakland) Heverly. Surviving are sisters, Susan Shannon and Mary Jo Laughlin; a brother, Samuel; many nieces and nephews; and a friend, Denny Gibson. He was preceded in death by a brother, Martin. Ed graduated from Altoona High School and worked as a Harley-Davidson mechanic. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and feeding wild animals.
