Michael John O’Neil, 74, of Henrico, Va., formerly of Darien, Conn., died Wednesday. He was born in Darien, Conn., son of the late Richard O’Neil and Virginia (Stiles) O’Neil-Vanden Bosch. Surviving are a sister, Maureen, of Ellington, Conn.; and 10 nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Brian and David O’Neil. He was a graduate of the American School for the Deaf in Hartford, Conn. He retired as a master machinist from Pratt & Whitney, East Hartford, Conn. A celebration of life is planned for a later date. Elsie M. (Feathers) Dively Gonsman, 88, of Claysburg, died Tuesday. She was born in Pavia, daughter of the late Samuel and Ellen (Imler) Feathers. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lester Dively; second husband, John Gonsman; and brothers, John and Charles. Surviving are daughters, Ellen Bender and Lora Banks; her grandchildren; and siblings: Dorene, Ruby, Sylvia, Wilbur, Joseph and Samuel.
