Dale A. Greene

Dale A. Greene, 57, of Altoona, died Friday after battling cancer. He was born in Altoona, son of Linda (Walker) and the late John Greene. Surviving are his wife, Barb; children: Jenna Greene, Jessica Eger, Brandi Becker, Amanda Becker and Matthew Greene; seven grandchildren; his mother; and siblings, Tammy and Brian. He was preceded in death by a son, David Becker. Dale was a 1986 Altoona High School graduate and served in the U.S. Army. Vista Ann (Stoy) Lindner

Vista A. (Stoy) Lindner, 86, of Martinsburg, passed away Saturday. She was born in Colver, daughter of the late Theodore and Susan (Novak) Stoy. Surviving are her husband, Paul; a daughter, Marlene Lindner; sons, Paul and Douglas; three grandchildren; and brothers, Ted and Joe Stoy. Vista graduated from Ebensburg Cambria High School in 1957, worked at the Pentagon and retired as a Library Technician in 2005. She enjoyed yoga, traveling the world and church activities. At Vista’s request, there will be no public services. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Timothy F. Snyder Jr., 68, of Duncansville, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Timothy Sr. and Dorothy (Estep) Snyder. Surviving are his wife, Anita; children: Jennifer Lesesne, Mandi Mills, Tristie Birk, Byron Snyder and Steven Erb; many grandchildren; a brother, Gerald; and a nephew, Craig. He was preceded in death by a son, Dustin; and siblings, Dan and Kathy. Tim served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and time with his family.
