Syvilla C. Gerlesky

Syvilla C. Gerlesky, 87, Carrolltown, died Thursday. She was born in Carrolltown, daughter of Leo and Edna (Snyder) Luther. Surviving are her children: Christine, Thomas, Tammy and Theodore; and many grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; a son, Timothy; a grandson, Cody; and a sister, Hazel. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., Carrolltown, and from 9 until the 10 a.m. funeral Mass Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the Boniface Wimmer Room at St. Benedict Church, Carrolltown.

Donald F. Graham Jr.

Donald F. Graham Jr., 77, Altoona, died Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Donald Sr. and Mary Ann (Steinbauer). He was married to the late Gloria Irene (Helsel). Surviving are two children, David and Christine; and three grandchildren. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. At Donald’s request, there will be no services held. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc. and Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.

Anthony F. “Tony” Labriola, 81, Altoona, died Saturday, July 12, 2025. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave. Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery. Louise C. Berry

Louise C. Berry, 91, of Altoona passed away Thursday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harold and Clara (Weakland) Fagan. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Gene; sisters, Noreen Scheeler and Scarlett Lane; and a brother, Patrick Fagan. She is survived by daughters: Cheri Westad and Holly Sheetz; several grandchildren; and a brother, William Fagan. She had been an active volunteer and leader for many organizations in the community.
