Charles R. McCord, 79, Altoona, passed away Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at Maybrook Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona. Friends will be received at the 11 a.m. funeral Mass Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, at St. Michael’s Church, 301 Spruce St., Hollidaysburg. Arrangements are by Santella Funeral Home. Terry Lee Swanson, 83, of Houtzdale, died Sunday. He was born in Clearfield, son of the late Olive (Swanson) Tatters and stepfather, Donald Tatters. Surviving are his wife, Peggy; children, Jeana Bennett and Matt Swanson; several grandchildren; sisters: Shelia, Veronica, Doris Ann and Martha Risbon. Josephine M. “Josie” Weston, 93, of Tyrone, passed away Saturday. She was born in Pemberton, daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Steele) Seiner. On Sept. 28, 1952, at Sinking Valley Presbyterian Church, she married Van “Skeet” Ray Weston who preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 2014. She is survived by three children: Jim (Roseann) Weston, Tim (Helene) Weston and Deanna (Rick) Gray; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim Seiner. Elaine (Black) Cogley, 65, Duncansville, died Wednesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Alda (Swain) and the late James Black. Surviving are her two sons: Justin and wife, Brittany and Jordan, and wife, Kayla; a granddaughter, Lyla; a grandson, Connor; her mother; and a brother, Jim Black Jr. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Stephen. Sheanna L. Gagliardi, 28, DuBois, formerly of Houtzdale, died Friday. She was born in Clearfield, daughter of Leonard Bloom and Sheena (Glass) Jordan. On June 11, 2022, she married Joshua D. Gagliardi Sr. In addition to her husband and parents, surviving are a son, Joshua Jr.; and siblings: Shiana, Mckinnion, Dravin, Garrett, Hunter and Ethan.
