Alan M. Lightner, 29, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of David and Tracy (McCarty) Lightner. Surviving are his parents; a son, Elias Lightner; siblings: Chelsey, Andrew (Mariah) and Kyle Lightner; niece, Payton; nephew, Jace; and grandmothers, Sherry McCarty and Kay Lightner. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Richard McCarty and Charles “Dean” Lightner. Alan was a 2015 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School. He enjoyed music and playing guitar.
