Nancy B. Musselman, 89, of Roaring Spring, peacefully passed away Saturday. She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Bruce T. and Elizabeth A. (Bailey) Butler. Linda Glass Payne, 66, formerly of Houtzdale, died Nov. 2, 2025. She was born in Lockport, N.Y., daughter of the late Louis “Bud” and Mildred Coleman. Surviving are her husband, John; children: Angel Westover, Shannon Brooks, Sheena Jordan and Slade Glass; many grandchildren; and brothers, Mike and Louis. She was predeceased by daughters, Contessa and Ashley Glass; three grandchildren; and a sister, Muzette Lefort. L. Scott Sharpless, 58, of Sandy Ridge, died Friday. He was born in Philipsburg, the son of Sheldon Sharpless and the late Rhelda (Tormey) Hummel. Surviving are his wife, Jennifer; daughters, Hannah Sharpless and Lara Quick; siblings, Sharon Glasgow and Timothy Sharpless; nieces, Emily Roney and Kristie Sharpless; a nephew, Ryan Glasgow; and mother-in-law, Betsy Whitehead. He was also preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and father-in-law, Lee Whitehead. Services will be private for the family. Arrangements are by Birger A. Thomas D. “Tom” Taylor, 73, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona after a long illness. He was born in Wilmington, Del., son of the late David R. and Joann C. (Carlin) Taylor. He is survived by his wife, Diane; three sisters: Kathy Casey, Carol Taylor and Anne Hudson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his youngest sister, Colleen Taylor.
