Arthur C. Clarke Jr. 93, of Philipsburg, formerly of Ashland, died Friday. He was born in Berwinsdale, a son of the late Arthur Sr. and Ruth (Gill) Clarke. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Tom, Harvey and Bill; and a sister, Vida Witherow. Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Elizabeth Hetrick, 79, of Woodbury, passed away Friday at Homewood Living, Martinsburg. She was born in Trenton, N.J., a daughter of the late Sherman P. and Josephine (Kusek) Caffey. On Dec. 22, 2001, she married George M. Hetrick, who survives along with her sister and best friend, Patricia Swartz, of New Enterprise. No services will be held.
