Edna Amelia Roland, 90, Duncannon, formerly of Williamsburg, died Tuesday. She was born in Williamsburg, daughter of the late Frank and Joanna Forshey. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Duane Oakes Sr. and Dorsey Roland; and five siblings. Surviving are children: Duane Jr., Paul and Kathi Oakes and Faith Spitler; several grandchildren; and stepchildren: Dorsey, Craig and Faith Roland, Rose Allison and Karen Barber. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the service at noon Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2026, at Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Williamsburg.
Terry L. Thompson Jr., 54, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. He was born in Altoona, the son of Judith (Becker) and the late Terry L. Thompson Sr. Surviving are his wife of 23 years, Christy Kimmel; daughters, Dylyn Thompson (Jon) and Chelsey Brown (Devin); a son, Deacon (Olivia); eight grandchildren; a sister, Mona McClellan (Mike); and best friends, Lance and Patch. He coached his children in football and basketball. Terry enjoyed riding motorcycles, cars, racing and the Baltimore Ravens. Jeffrey Lynn Watson, 77, of Tyrone, died Jan. 28, 2026, at Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born in Altoona, the son of John H. and Hope (Reed) Watson. On Sept. 26, 1967, he married Sandra (Noel) Watson. Jeffrey is survived by his wife; sons, Lynn Watson and Jeffrey “JR” Watson (Stacie); grandchildren, Olivia Dodson (Zak) and Jenna Watson; great-grandson, Anthony Dodson; and his brothers, John Watson (Doris) of Butler, Ala., and Jerry Watson (Barb) of Tyrone.
