Jeffrey Lynn Watson

Jeffrey Lynn Watson, 77, of Tyrone, died Jan. 28, 2026, at Latrobe Area Hospital. He was born in Altoona, the son of John H. and Hope (Reed) Watson.
On Sept. 26, 1967, he married Sandra (Noel) Watson.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife; sons, Lynn Watson and Jeffrey “JR” Watson (Stacie); grandchildren, Olivia Dodson (Zak) and Jenna Watson; great-grandson, Anthony Dodson; and his brothers, John Watson (Doris) of Butler, Ala., and Jerry Watson (Barb) of Tyrone.
He was a graduate of Tyrone Area High School in 1966 and served in the U.S. Navy.
Jeffrey was a long-time truck driver for various companies and retired from Walmart as a trucker.
He was a past officer at the American Legion Post 281.
Jeffrey loved his granddaughters, gardening and the Tyrone Historical Society.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services.
