Sharon Darlene Lucas, 73, of Altoona, peacefully passed away Monday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late David T. and Lyda (Garlick) Lucas. Surviving are three brothers: Gary, Roy and David Lucas. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. Arrangements are by Anthony P. Scaglione Funeral Home, 1908 Seventh Ave., Altoona. Sharon will be laid to rest next to her parents at Grandview Cemetery.

Rachel M. Lynn, 87, of Tyrone, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Northwood, the daughter of Oliver and Gladys (Fink) Friday. On June 1, 1957, at United Brethren Church in Tyrone, she married Charles Elmer Lynn, who preceded her on Jan. 8, 2025. She is survived by four children: Diane Brinkman, Charles E. (Tina) Lynn Jr., Leroy J. (Karen) Lynn and Carol Shaw; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Donald and Gerald Friday.
